Natural Law

Natural Law

We humans seem to expect all laws to be written down to be enforceable. Nature is what nature does. Natural names the expected actions and results of what nature did. Nature is a process of accretion, still ongoing. As a blind accretive process, nature needs no written laws to complete the course on which She has embarked. Things occur as they will, as a matter of course.

Humans need to know a set of dependable, teachable rules to better negotiate the paths they take through life. They have used trial and error to discover how to glean the most accurate results from tests they devised and refined, and eventually learned to predict the amount of accuracy they could expect from various approaches. No approach gives perfect results, but the least accurate will outdo guesswork and superstition, the only remaining approaches.
