Faith can justify itself only in reference to itself and so spawns circular reasoning which is illogical. Faith denies logic any authority, and so makes logic impracticable by the faithful, who then, by decree and biblical example, must regard it as a Satanic enterprise pursued by fools. Why engage with logic against those for whom it is suspect, whose ideal is the circle that yields knowledge that fits their design, considered perfect? Their faith is in that and those who taught it to them. That faith will fail them only when they can see, for themselves, the folly from which it rises. To show them love, even as you defend against their advances, will accomplish more than all arguments from logic.
